KRITINIA

Kritinia is one of the most beautiful villages in Rhodes. It is located 55km from the town and it is built in barrow with a great panoramic view to the sea. It has a population of 500 people.

Over the years the village has become a place of tourist interest due to the Venetian castle and the church of Agios Ioannis with the magnificent wall paintings that date back to 16th century. Many traditional cafes (kafenia) and taverns are located in the center of the village. Skala Kamirou which is located close to the village is really worth visiting.
